I’m sure I’m not alone in my obsession with Catherine & William’s wedding. I know I’m in good company with the hive, but in real life I’m embarrassed by how much I care about this wedding. Last Friday I got antsy pants just wondering what her dress might look like. Oh goodness, I can’t wait any longer! If I could dress Catherine I would die a million deaths because she’s my total BFF in my mind. (She even lets me borrow that blue Issa dress in my dreams) She’s such a great friend! Anywho… we’ve got a little bet going on about our royal predictions. First and foremost I’m going to start with the dress, of course. It will be the star of the show, after all!

Okay, so I’ve been to Westminster Abbey before and I know they can be real stringent (this is me being extremely kind) with their rules. So I know Catherine will definitely be covered up. The above dresses are my dreams for her. She can obviously wear anything (lucky devil!) and I would really really really love to see her in something similar to Mrs. Star’s wedding dress. Oh my gah isn’t her dress absolutely stunning? Unfortunately I think she will have to cover her shoulders. Anywho, the Monique Lhuillier lace is what I would like to see Catherine in according to the church rules. She looks gorgeous in that neckline.
However, my vote for Catherine’s dress would have to be Grace Kelly’s. 60 years later and that dress is still in style—unlike Diana’s. Grace had it going on!

I believe Catherine will be in 3/4 length lace sleeves and her waist will absolutely be cinched. There will be no ifs, ands, or buts about that accentuated waist.
Catherine’s veil will be a delicate, thin, tulle, cathedral length veil. My guess for length will be about 10 feet after her dress stops. I don’t think it’s going to be a crazy length but it will be subtly grand. Yeah, I just said subtly grand—you got a problem?!

Catherine will please her future husband exponentially by wearing the crown his mother wore on her day. William would totally appreciate something like that. I would like to see Catherine in one of those fabulous hats she wears but I think she’s going to place this one traditional.

Can I do that? Can I hope that Catherine wears the same shoes that I did? If she does, I would like to hope that Ken Geiger made sure to grab some better glue for his crystals. I obviously couldn’t return them to Harrods from across the pond but that shit won’t fly for a princess, ya heard Geigs?
In keeping with the shoes, I think that Catherine will have champagne colored bridesmaids’ dresses. They will have a classic look; satin, boat neck, cap sleeves, floor length. There will be a seam at the natural waist and a straight, not tight, skirt.
Oh her hairstyle. I don’t know. This is a mystery to me—like the dress. I would like to think that she wouldn’t stray too far from her normal gorgeous hair styled down but I think she might pull it up. I suppose I’ll just stick with a simple chignon for her.
The ceremony length will be 67 minutes long.
The cake will have 7 tiers.
Their first dance will be a classic waltz.
As far as a theme, I don’t think their will be one. Everything will be slightly off white, like Catherine’s dress.
What are you thinking? Can you not stand the wait? Are you going to be waking up at the ass crack of dawn to see it? Could you care less?
I would just like to say that I adore them as a couple and I hope they can make a strong go of it. I can’t imagine all the pressures they face excluding the normal stuff we all deal with. May they have the happily ever after.
